ACP Traineeships for young graduates at the European Parliament in Brussels

Are you a Ugandan university student or a recent graduate? Are you looking for international work experience? If so, you may be interested in the ACP Internship Programme at the European Parliament.

What is on offer:

A traineeship is offered for a period of 3 months in the office of a Member of the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.

General Conditions:

  • Position: Trainee at the office of a Member of the European Parliament
  • Location: Brussels, Belgium.
  • Period: Three months, October to December 2018.
  • Travel fees: Candidates will be reimbursed around half of the travel costs from the country of the origin.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates should comply with the following criteria:

  • be between 18 and 35 years old;
  • be in possession of a university degree in a human science or social field, or be a last year student;
  • know English or French;
  • be strongly motivated to learn about the functioning of the European Parliament, and to work in a team;
  • have good communication skills.

Interested trainees can send their CV's and Motivation Letters to Delegation-uganda-ppi@eeas.europa.eu by 9 June 2018 with the subject line: "ACP Traineeship Programme at the European Parliament".  Specific merits in terms of academic performance and in terms of language skills are considered a great advantage.

Before applying you are requested to examine the eligibility criteria. Applications from non-eligible candidates will not be considered. After the evaluation of all applications, shortlisted candidates will be informed by email by 15 June.
