On 8 June, EU Delegation in Beijing will host a reception with participation of Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President for Energy Union at the EU booth, showcasing achievements of EU cooperation funded by Horizon 2020 as part of Clean Energy Technology Exhibition.
Four energy projects will be presented at the EU booth, ESPRIT, NOBELGRID, POWERKITE and WAVEROLLER. The prototypes and mock-ups exhibited, will feature technologies in the areas of transport, smart grids, tidal and wave energy. In addition to these projects, the mock-up of the Solar Impulse plane, which preformed the First Round-The-World Solar Flight, powered only by the sun, with no fuel or polluting emissions will be displayed at the booth.
Technology Exhibition is one of the side events, taking place during the Eight Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM8) and the Second Mission Innovation Ministerial (MI-2). It brings together organisations and companies from all over the world exhibiting innovative clean energy technologies, products and business models.
