Call for proposal for the management of a forest complex in Sierra Leone and Guinea

As part of a regional program to preserve natural resources in West Africa, the EU launched today a call for proposal for the management of a forest complex in Sierra Leone and Guinea

 

The EU launched today a call for proposal "Towards a participative, inclusive and sustainable management of the forest landscape complex of Outamba-Kilimi (Sierra Leone), Kuru Hills (Sierra Leone), and Pinselli-Soya (Guinea)".

 

This call for proposals is part of the implementation of the EU regional indicative programme in West Africa (component 'natural resources'), whose objective is to protect West Africa key forest landscapes and biodiversity in an efficient, effective and legitimate way. In line with this, the specific objective of this Action grant is to protect a trans-boundary key-landscape for conservation between Sierra Leone and Guinea formed by Outamba-Kilimi National Park, Kuru Hills Forest Reserve, and Pinselli-Soyah Classifed Forests in an efficient, effective and legitimate way.
