Ministerial on Climate Action (MoCA)
Ministers and key partners from around the world came together to advance discussions on global climate action ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which will take place in November 2025 in Belém, Brazil.
Co-convened by the European Union, Canada, and China, the Ministerial on Climate Action provides a crucial platform for driving progress under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement.
At the meeting, participants focused on:
- Mobilizing climate finance to support global transition efforts,
- Accelerating the shift to low-carbon, resilient economies, and
- Enhancing collective action and ambition to deliver tangible outcomes at COP30.
Together, the EU and Canada are working to turn commitments into concrete results for a more sustainable and climate-resilient future.
