EU-Canada young journalist fellows on study tour in Brussels

After a two-year delay due to the pandemic, the highly-anticipated EU-Canada Young Journalist Fellowship study tour took place from 26 to 30 September.

The 2022 edition brought together a group of six young Canadian journalists, including 2020 laureates, Léa Carrier, Anna Desmarais and Jacob Lorinc, as well as 2021 laureates, Claire Porter Robbins, Laurie Trottier, and Moira Wyton. They travelled to Brussels from as far as Whitehorse, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and New York. The study was an opportunity for the fellows to get familiar with the structure and decision-making process of the European Union and its institutions.
