Third anniversary of Russian war against Ukraine

On the occasion of 3 years since the start of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, a photo exhibition was opened on 24th February 2025 at the National Museum of Botswana, organised by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Botswana supported by the German Embassy Gaborone and the Delegation of the European Union in Botswana. The exhibition is designed to remind the world, that the war is far from over, that justice has not yet been served, but that Ukrainian resilience remains unbroken.
Speaking at the opening attended by representatives from the government, members of the diplomatic corps, media and citizens the European Union Ambassador to Botswana and SADC, Ms. Petra Pereyra said the war on Ukraine is not only about Ukraine or Ukrainians. Neither is it a European crisis. That it is a defining struggle for the international order. This is why the exhibition highlights the need to ensure the international community's continued focus on supporting Ukraine in achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace based on the Ukrainian peace formula.
