EU, EBRD and EIB jointly finance project on rehabilitation and modernisation of water systems in the city of Cholpon-Ata.

EU has provided EUR 3.1 million as a grant, while the EBRD and the EIB have released EUR 1 million each as a loan. As a result of the project, 18000 residents of Cholpon-Ata will receive access to clear drinking water.
