  • The project's main objective is to promote employment especially for young people, improving training activities and professional integration as well as supporting the upgrade of companies in departure areas of migrants.
  • This project is part of the Programme to develop employment in Senegal through strengthening businesses competitiveness and employability in departure areas.

Expected results

  • Training opportunities provided to young people are increased;
  • The quality of training is improved and adapted to the socio-economic needs.

 

Location: Senegal: Kédougou, Kolda, Sédhiou, Tambacounda, Ziguinchor

Target group: migrants of the region, young people, uneducated or poorly educated men between (aged 15 - 35) from rural areas

Total cost (€): 19 000 000.00

EU contracted amount: 19 000 000.00

Duration: September 2016 - September 2020
