)with the specific modalities and guidelines for application: the call closes on 9 September 2020.

MSCA  offer high  quality  professional  opportunities  open  to  researchers  of   any  age,  nationality or discipline in Europe. To be eligible the researcher either has to hold a PhD (postdoc) or have at least four years of research experience.

In addition, a Widening Fellowship (WF) option within MSCA-IF, aims at providing support to researchers to undertake their fellowship in a so-called ‘Widening Country’. Proposals submitted to MSCA-IF, not reaching an adequate place in the ranking to be funded, will be reassigned to the Widening Fellowships call upon the agreement of the applicant.

The purpose of that scheme, focusing on a number of countries in Europe, is to help spreading scientific excellence and close the research and innovation gap within Europe.
