EuroVillage 2025 – European Union in Baku

The flagship EuroVillage event is once again opening its doors at Baku Boulevard at 13.00 pm on Sunday, 22 June 2025 giving the public an exciting opportunity to learn more about the European Union; its values, and policies, including the long-standing co-operation and partnership with Azerbaijan, as well as about the European Union Member States, their history, culture, traditions, and present life of their peoples. The official opening will take place at 14.00 pm with participation of the Ambassadors of the European Union (EU) and EU Member States, and Head of International Relations department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zarifa Zulfugarova.
EuroVillage 2025, with this year’s theme “European Union in Baku” is being organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan in co-operation with Embassies of the EU Member States and with valuable support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event will also highlight EU projects and EU Delegation’s activities in Azeerbaijan.
Ambassador of the EU to Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Peter Michalko stated: “Eurovillage is a window to Europe, a chance to see, learn and enjoy the rich culture and diversity which makes the European Union so unique. We are delighted to share this celebration with our Azerbaijani friends!”
EuroVillage will be open to visitors from 13.00 pm to 18.00 pm on Sunday, 22 June, and will offer to Azerbaijani public a rich and comprehensive programme of events and activities for all age groups. This year the event will promote healthy lifestyle and sports.
A variety of exciting activities planned for EuroVillage includes face painting; a children’s book corner with fairy tale characters; sport activities such as chess contests, football and basketball; various quizzes. The mainstage will also be a hub of activity and will showcase a rich programme of dance and music from Europe and Azerbaijan, including fun contests and mini competitions.
During the event, visitors will be offered a chance to learn more about the EU by visiting the stands of EU Member States, and EU supported projects throughout Azerbaijan in the fields of education, regional development, and more. “Study in Europe” stand will also be there to provide young people with information about education options in Europe.
An amazing evening concert from 19.00 to 20.00 pm will close the EuroVillage 2025. The concert will feature performances by famous singers, Samira Efendi and Aydan Hasanova with the Miles Band.
