Visit of the EU’s DDG for International Partnerships, Ms Myriam Ferran, to Australia

Ms Myriam Ferran, the EU’s Deputy Director-General for International Partnerships, visited Canberra on 11 July as part of her Pacific mission.

 

Ms Myriam Ferran, the EU’s Deputy Director-General for International Partnerships, visited Canberra on 11 July as part of her Pacific mission.

During her visit, Ms Ferran took part in the 7th EU–Australia Development Dialogue held at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. This high-level exchange with Acting Deputy Secretary Jamie Isbister focused on strengthening cooperation to support security, stability, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific. The dialogue emphasised our shared commitment to driving positive impact through sustainable, inclusive partnerships in the region.

Ms Ferran also met with ambassadors from Team Europe to brief them on her mission and share insights from engagements across the Pacific region.
