1. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual merit. The three entries scoring the highest points according to the guideline categories “relevance”, “originality”, “integration” “feasibility”, and “effectiveness”, will win prizes to be determined and announced on promotional materials.

  1. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual merit. The three entries scoring the highest points according to the guideline categories relevance, originality, integration feasibility, and effectiveness, will win prizes to be determined and announced on promotional materials. The organisers reserve the right to change the advertised prizes to others of similar value, without notice. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third-party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.

 

  1. Employees of the European Union and agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter the competition, and neither are their immediate family members.

 

  1. Entrants are limited to one (1) entry per person. The judges reserve the right to verify the validity of entries.

 

  1. Entries may be submitted by an individual, a pair or a group. In the event that a pair or groups entry is selected as a winner, the prize shall be awarded to one nominated member and the responsibility of deciding ownership will rest with that individual.

 

  1. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. Entries must include the full name, age and contact details of the entrant, and must be limited to 2 A4 pages (e.g. 2 page in Microsoft Word or similar software, or a scan of a handwritten A4 page). Entries that do not include the full name, age and contact details of the entrant, or which are longer than 2 A4 page, will be disqualified. 

 

  1. All entries become and remain the property of the project EMELELA .

 

  1. Winners of the competition must be aged between 18-35 years old and residents of Botswana. Entrants may be required to provide documentary evidence of their age and residence.

 

  1. The jury reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.

 

  1. By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.

 

  1. If after five (5) days of the judging a winner is unreachable at the contact details provided during entry then the jury will award the prize to entrant who scored next-highest.
