Today (8/5), the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), H.E. Igor Driesmans, launched the EU-ASEAN Blue Book 2020.
As part of its plan to support partner countries around the globe, the European Union (EU) is mobilising €350 million to fight against the spread of the coronavirus and mitigate the impact of the pandemic on the ASEAN region.
The EU has announced support to 18 research projects on coronavirus. Scientific organisations in ASEAN Member States are invited to express their interest to cooperate with the newly launched projects.
High Representative/Vice President Josep Borrell, supported by the EEAS, the Commission and EU Delegations around the world, led the work to strengthen coordination among Member States to help EU citizens who were stranded outside the EU
On 9 May 2020- Europe Day- we will celebrate a historic European milestone that made the EU what it is today: 70 years of the Schuman Declaration. Stay tuned for special Europe Day events throughout May to enjoy from home!
