Text

Brief Description

The project aims to implement two main objectives:

A) Development, configuration and implementation of the governmental interoperability platform (GIP), which will enable secure, simplified and streamlined connectivity between all organisations of the public administration of Armenia.

B) Development of the Single Electronic Window (SEW), targeting as a first stage the simplification of interactions with state bodies and minimization of administrative burden for the economic operators involved in foreign trade via the implementation of “One Stop Shop” principle at border checkpoints.

Actions in Brief

The project seeks to increase efficiency of the public services by establishing a common interoperability platform for enabling a "One Window" portal for all governmental services. The project will target as a first step, the implementation of the One Stop Shop approach at border-crossing. The tools developed as part of the project will enable government bodies to maintain high quality and efficiency of public services, including the issuance of permits, licenses, certificates and other regulatory or electronic documents related to international trade. Streamlining and simplification of the customs clearance procedures will enable reduction of immediate communication between the civil servants at government agencies and the citizens engaged in foreign trade activities. Successful implementation of the project will increase transparency, public control and predictability of e-governance services. The project will also result in time and cost savings by the government agencies, economic entities and citizens.
