The European Union’s ENPARD project has revealed that there is a potential for a high-value cheese production in Armenia. Due to the ENPARD agricultural programme, Armenian producers are entering into the European market with stable steps.
How did this story of success begin?
- We were buying milk. But each year, different problems occurred, which caused problems in cooperation with our suppliers. For nearly 15 years we were searching for a donor organisation to start production. Without ENPARD’s assistance, it would have remained a dream. ENPARD's help has been invaluable, both with equipment and professional consultancy, which I value the highest.
