The project aims at providing basic services in the nine camps and their hosting communities which will contribute significantly towards reducing vulnerability and increasing self-reliance and preparedness for a possible return process. Refugees and Thai villagers will acquire greater knowledge and improved skills on organic agriculture and small animal raising, or non-farm livelihoods (recycling and food shops) from technical training, skills training, and on-site field support. Furthermore, the camp governance in the livelihood sector will be reinforced through coordinating all the activities with the Livelihood Camp Committees, and by the participation of the camp-based refugee staff.
