Summary

The project TWIST will help Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) become more involved in local and national decision-making processes about confiscated assets and will encourage social entrepreneurship (SE) practices to increase social re-use of confiscated assets to prevent and combat organized crime (OC) at the local, national and European level.

Overall Objective

to contribute to strengthening the effectiveness of social entrepreneurship as a potential practice for increasing social reuse of confiscated assets from organised crime and as an effective model of inclusive economy / social business to provide services, skills, employment, and support to vulnerable groups, such as victims of organised crime

Expected Results

- enhance CSOs capacities to an effective engagement in the decision-making process with local and national institutions through the implementation of social entrepreneurship both as a model of social reuse of confiscated assets and as a good practice for socio-economic development of the community;

- increase the implementation of social entrepreneurship both as a model of social reuse in confiscated assets and as a civic tool to prevent and fight organised crime at local, national and European level.
