The Delegation of the European Union to Albania is selling one used car type Mitsubishi Pajero Sport

Conditions of the public sale:

• The vehicle can be viewed and examined from Friday 2^nd to Friday 9^th August 2024 between 10h00 and 16h00 at Rruga Papa Gjon Pali II, ABA Business Centre, Tirana.
• Interested bidders should call the EU Delegation at +355 4 22 28 320.
• Bids are accepted exclusively by using the official Bid Form – available during the inspection visit. Any other form of bid will be rejected.
• Bid forms have to be duly filled in, signed and be placed in a sealed envelope. Bids submitted differently (not sealed, electronically etc.) will not be accepted.
• Bids will be accepted in EUR only and have to be submitted to the EU Delegation at the EUD premises – Rr. Papa Gjon Pali II, ABA Business Centre, 17th Floor, Tirana.
• Deadline for submission of bids is Monday 12 August 2024 at 16h30.

A designated Auction Committee will open all offers received within the deadline. Late offers will be rejected. The vehicle will be awarded to the highest bid.

Successful bidder will be notified by email and/or phone immediately after the award procedure. Payment must be done within 48 hours of award notification.

In case the vehicle is not paid or picked-up within the set time limit, the item will be awarded to the next highest bidder (2^nd highest offer etc.).

The vehicle should be removed by Friday 23/08/2024 at 11h00 at the latest. Awards for items not paid or picked up on time will be void.

Please note that:

• bids are not negotiable once submitted;
• payment must be made via bank transfer before/at collection of the vehicle;
• removal of vehicle bought is the buyer’s responsibility and cost;
• the vehicle is sold as is, in its present condition with no guarantee or warranty;
• offers failing to respect the above rules will be excluded from the auction.

Conditions of the vehicle

The vehicle is in working conditions, all services are done at authorized repair shops. Technical control and insurance (third party liability) are in order.

Conditions of the public sale & submission of bids

• The vehicle is sold on an "as is, where is" basis: engine can be started, test drive is not possible;
• The buyer has to bear all import duties in full compliance with the Albanian laws: the EU Delegation is tax-exempt and no import duties or taxes were paid when the vehicle was initially purchased;

• Minimum bid: EUR 4,000.-
• Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope mentioning: "Mitsubishi Pajero Sport – Public Sale" to the EU Delegation Offices;

Handing over of the vehicle

Upon presentation of the payment/depositing proof of the purchase price at the EU Delegation's bank account, the buyer will be handed over the vehicle and related documents. The awardee of the public sale has to remove the vehicle from the EU Delegation parking at the latest 5 calendar days after payment. The Delegation of the European Union to Albania is not responsible for any cost involved in removing the vehicle which is bought "as is, where is", nor in maintaining/insuring/repairing/covering running costs or taxes of the above vehicle.
