On Saturday 7 December almost 10,000 Ethiopians and international community gathered at the Diplomatic Bazaar to celebrate diversity and explore cultures of almost 60 countries through national stands selling country-specific goods and foods.  Organised by the Diplomatic Spouses Group Ethiopia, the Bazaar has been running for 30 years to raise money to finance  philanthropic actions  in Ethiopia. 

Thanks to the generous support of the visitors, colleagues and their family members who helped with a great commitment, the EU stand raised an amount of 163 000 ETB which will be dedicated to the PROJECT MATRIX supporting social entrepreneurs in Ethiopia.. Colleagues at the EU stand also distributed 'EU Passports' promoting the European Union and encouraging visitors to purchase from EU Member State stands for a chance to win a Lufthansa flight ticket to Europe or a flight in a hot air balloon.
