This Call for Expression of Interest responds to some of the most pressing current challenges facing the Afghan population and is carried out under the EU’s ongoing support for basic needs and livelihoods in Afghanistan.

Organisations meeting the eligibility criteria are invited to familiarise themselves with the objectives of the Call and consider submitting a concept note.

The total budget for the Call is EUR 40 million, and the submission deadline is Friday, June 5, 2026, at 17:00 (Brussels date and time).

An online information session will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10:00 (Brussels date and time).  Interested organizations must register by sending an email to delegation-afghanistan-CfEoI-1-2026@eeas.europa.eu before Monday, May 11, 2026, 17:00 CET (Brussels date and time).
