EU Advisory Mission in support of security sector reform in Iraq
On 22 November, the civilian European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Iraq took up its work in Baghdad, only one month after EU Foreign Ministers decided to establish the mission to support the Iraqi Government in its Security Sector Reform.
The ten civilian CSDP Missions work to increase human security. Around 2,000 men and women are currently deployed in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The CPCC is the headquarter of these Missions. Read about their joint efforts to strengthen security, rule of law and human rights.
