I am delighted to welcome you to the website of the Delegation of the European Union to Côte d'Ivoire and thank you for your interest in our activities.  

I invite you to discover the many facets of the long-standing partnership between the European Union and Côte d'Ivoire. This partnership, which began in 1961, is based on converging interests and shared values: first and foremost, peace and stability, democracy, the defense of multilateralism, and human rights. The economic transformation of Côte d'Ivoire and the prosperity of Ivorians is also a priority that we are working towards together.

Very involved in the country's economic recovery since 2011, the European Union has a privileged status in Côte d'Ivoire as the leading trading partner, leading investor and donor in the field of development. Regular exchanges – at the highest level – with government, civil society, and the private sector consolidate and guide our "Global Gateway" strategy, the European investment offering in sustainable and reliable connections serving people and the planet. It aims to create opportunities for all, for a more sustainable, fairer, and more inclusive world.

Together with the Delegation's team and in conjunction with our Member States Embassies and the European Investment Bank, united as "Team Europe", we are working tirelessly to deepen this ambitious partnership with Côte d'Ivoire.
