Effective Multilateralism

The Council reiterates that cooperation through effective multilateralism remains the best way to advance national as well as collective interests. The EU aims at an effective multilateral system that delivers results in tackling today's and tomorrow's global challenges.

EU High Representative Mogherini and Canadian Foreign Minister Freeland conclude a two-day meeting with women foreign ministers from around the world with pledge to work closer together on shared challenges and to advance shared values. They will also work to build a network of governments and civil society to advance women's rights and gender equality.
