Facilitated by the ESIWA + project, four counter-terrorism police officers from Indonesia and Thailand participated in the annual Advisory Network Conference of the ECTC.

A regional event was held on 5–6 May 2025 in Jakarta, aimed at raising awareness of the GCTF Brussels Memorandum on Good Practices for Oversight and Accountability Mechanisms in Counter-terrorism.

Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) visited Jakarta on 14-16 April 2025. The visiting delegation consist of seven MEPs from the International Trade Committee (INTA).
