The EU Delegation to Zimbabwe brought Europe Month 2026 to a close with a concert that was equal parts celebration, cultural exchange and proof that music truly knows no borders.

May is both Zimbabwe's Culture Month and the EU's Europe Month — and this Saturday, the EU Delegation to Zimbabwe is marking both with a free outdoor concert bringing European and Zimbabwean musical traditions together in Harare.

On 9 May, the EU Delegation to Zimbabwe — joined by Team Europe, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ambassador Dr. Frederick Shava as Guest of Honour, and a wide circle of partners and friends — gathered at the EU Residence to celebrate Europe Day: a joyful and meaningful affirmation of the enduring EU–Zimbabwe partnership and of what it means to be "United in Diversity."
