On 26 March 2009, a resolution on the state of the transatlantic relations in the aftermath of the US elections was adopted. On 8 October 2009, the EP adopted a resolution on the Pittsburgh G20 summit of the 24-25 September. And on 22 October 2009, a resolution on the upcoming EU-US Summit and Transatlantic Economic Council Meeting was adopted by the European parliament.
The European Parliament (EP) resolution on improving EU-US relations in the framework of a Transatlantic Partnership Agreement was adopted on 1 June 2006 and is still relevant. The 66th inter-parliamentary meeting between the European Parliament and the United States Congress and the Transatlantic Legislators’ Dialogue (TLD) took place in Prague on 18-20 April 2009. The joint statement of that meeting can be found here
. The next meeting will probably take place in San Francisco in December 2009.
