
Monday 10th of May, the EU and Republic of Korea met to sign a new Framework Agreement for relations between the EU and Korea. Both sides met in the margins of the EU’s Foreign Affairs Council which enabled all EU Foreign Ministers to sign on behalf of their Member State and High Representative Ashton on behalf of the EU. South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung-Hwan was present in Brussels to sign on behalf of his country.
