On 24 June 2025, our trainees at the EU Delegation to the UN in Geneva welcomed trainees and young professionals from across International Geneva for an inspiring and timely discussion “Speaking Truth to Power – Defending Media Freedom in Times of Crisis.”

The EU Delegation currently exhibits an exhibition on political prisoners in Belarus, to show its solidarity and shed light on their situation.

The EU will once again be a strong voice at the Human Rights Council, which will hold its 59 th session from 16 June to 9 July 2025 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

To mark Geneva Pride 2025, representatives from Permanent Missions joined the “Diplomats for Equality” initiative, marching together in support of LGBTIQ+ rights. The event highlighted a strong spirit of solidarity and a shared commitment to diversity and inclusion.
