To mark the 28th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster The EU Delegation and Docudays UA Film Festival encourage to watch a documentary about the life at Fukushima, which is often referred to as a second Chernobyl. Fukushima is known not only because of the recent nuclear disaster. To Mitsuaki Saito, director of the film, Fukushima is also where he returns to the point that divides the life into “before” and “after”, the childhood and maturity, the past and the future. The serene and stubborn activity of the farmers proves that the life and work go on despite what happened. A documentary about another culture, perception and transformation still has so much in common with the Ukrainian disaster.
