EU Study Days project opens its first session on 6-10 March, 2013 (02/01/2013)
EU Study Days in Ukraine, EU Delegation’s new education project, will conduct its first session on 6-10 March in Kyiv. The project is implemented by Centre for Ukrainian Reform Education with EU Delegation support.
During the first 5-day session prominent experts both from the EU and Ukraine will deliver their lectures for Ukrainian students: AndrewWilson, senior policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations (London); Christian Egenhofer, senior fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies and visiting professor at the College of Europe (Brussels); Andrii Veselovskyi, Ukraine’s Representative to the EU (2008-2010), Mykhaylo Gonchar, director of energy programs of the Nomos Centre; Valeriy Chalyi, deputy Director General of the Razumkov Centre; Olexandr Sushko, research director of the Institute for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation; Tamara Martsenuk, associate professor at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, expert in gender studies.
The EU Study Days will also give an opportunity for Ukrainian students to get new knowledge in EU integration from the officials of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine and members of the European Parliament.
Through its new education project the EU Delegation to Ukraine intends to create an opportunity for Ukrainian university students and graduates to get deeper and wider knowledge about the European Union and EU-Ukraine relations from key experts in the field. The project will also facilitate establishment of a network of young people in Ukraine, which will be able to exchange their experience and implement joint initiatives in the future.
