Welcome to the website of the Delegation of the European Union to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

Our aim is to provide you with comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date information about the EU, its institutions, policies and activities, as well as the EU's actions in the world and its relations with Timor-Leste.

The EU relationship with Timor-Leste is governed by the Cotonou Agreement, signed between the EU and African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries including Timor-Leste since 2005. The Cotonou Agreement establishes a Partnership covering Political, Economic and Trade relations, as well as Development Cooperation. It is centred on a common objective of reducing poverty, consistent with the goal of achieving sustainable development and the gradual integration of the ACP countries into the world economy.

Enjoy surfing our website and do not hesitate to contact us with your questions or comments, including suggestions on what additional information you would like to see in our website. Your feedback will be very welcome.
