European Union

The Vice-President Šefčovič of the European Commission had visited Republic of Korea on the 16- 17 May on his mission to 3 Asian countries including China and Singapore.

The Vice-President met with the Prime Mister of ROK, government officials at the Ministry of Public administration and Security, other institutions related to the e-government procedures and IT technologies, and Korean think tanks on EU.

He also gave a special lecture at the Yonsei University under the title of "The European Union- lessons learnt from the Economic crisis", attended by over 100 students, scholars, and distinguished guests.
