Local Farmers in Solomon Islands were provided with a new small-scale mechanisation workshop, inaugurated by the Solomon Islands Government Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock (MAL) and the European Union (EU) in Honiara on 18 July 2016.

The Solomon Islands Government (SIG) and the European Union (EU) signed today in Honiara a Financing Agreement, which will add 10 million Euro (about SBD 90 million) to the Rural Development Phase II Programme (RDP II).
