10-14 November 2025 was a week of green activities, learning, and collective action in Malawi as the EU Delegation together with the EU Member States marked #EUGreenDiplomacyWeek. The week highlighted the economic relevance, in addition to environmental benefits, of actions that address climate change and protect nature.

The European Union has since 2017, dedicated a significant portion of its human rights budget towards supporting the Government efforts at defending and protecting the rights of Persons with Albinism in Malawi who remain amongst the most marginalized communities in the country.
