Romanian Ambassador Emil Rapcea to talk to ENU students on bridges between Kazakhstan and Romania (26/04/2011)
ASTANA – A new lecture under the initiative "A Bridge of Friendship between the EU and ENU" will be delivered by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Emil Rapcea on Wednesday, 27 April 2011 at the Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU). Mr. Rapcea will deliver a lecture entitled "Oil: A bridge between Romania and Republic of Kazakhstan."
The ENU's faculty members, undergraduate and graduate students, Ph.D. students will have the opportunity to ask their questions and to use the provided information in their research work.
The initiative "A Bridge of Friendship between the EU and ENU" started on 24 November 2010 with a first conference by Ambassador Norbert Jousten, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Kazakhstan. As of today, the Ambassadors of the following EU Member States delivered their speeches: Latvia, Slovakia, Greece, Spain, Germany, Finland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Great Britain. The following Heads of Missions confirmed that they will give their lecture during the current academic year: Sweden, Lithuania, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland. The lectures are on various aspects of life in the European Union and its Member States.
