Edition number 8 of 'Europe in Israel online', the Delegation's electronic newsletter has just been published.

The latest issue includes reports on: the Delegation's new Facebook page; the appointment of the first Israeli to the European Scientific Council;  a football match involving Israeli and Jordanian children as part of a Partnership for Peace project; EU contributions to  two important Israeli conferences on space and renewable energy; an Israeli-led Euromed Cultural Heritage project; a regional workshop on fighting disasters as well as items on the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the European Citizens' Initiative
