The Fifth Ministerial Meeting between the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the European Union (EU) was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on the 3rd of April 2012.

20/02/12 - EU-Ethiopia signed grant agreements
The European Commission has adopted three projects for a total value of €53 million as part of the ongoing programme of cooperation between the EU and Ethiopia. The projects are financed from the 10th European Development Fund and aim to enhance governance and service delivery by the public sector and by non-state actors.
