Working together in China
Gansu is one of the poorest provinces of China. Enrolment rates are low, girls show higher drop-out rates than boys, schooling facilities are basic and teachers are undertrained. Improving the quality of education for all is the central focus of this project.

European Commission - Press release Brussels, 23 November 2015 The EU provides additional €10 million in support to UNRWA to keep schools open and to maintain core services for Palestinian refugees. Furthermore, Austria and Portugal provide €1.525 million through PEGASE in support to vulnerable Palestinian families.
