Job Vacancy Announcement: Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA) Assistant (11/09/2012)
An RTA Assistant is sought for the EU Twinning Project AM09/ENP-PCA/TP/03 entitled “Strengthening the capacity of the Armenian general department of civil aviation (GDCA) in the integration and enforcement of European safety standards, and harmonization with EU aviation safety regulations” between Armenia and Spain implemented since February 2011 in Yerevan.
Employment starting date: 1st of October 2012.
Period of employment: 4 months
Place of Employment: Armenian General Department of Civil Aviation, Zvartnots Airport, Yerevan.
a. Provide assistance to the Resident Twinning Adviser as a Project Assistant - in regard to the Twinning Contract AM09/ENP-PCA/TP/03
b. Support the RTA and visiting staff responsible for the Project.
c. Provide relevant information and documents.
d. Help arranging contacts or meetings.
e. Attend meetings.
f. Translate and interpret.
g. Provide satisfactory translation of documents and interpretation for the RTA and short-term experts, in cases where separate arrangements for translation or interpretation cannot be made.
h. Develop and maintain close working contacts and relations with Armenian officials involved in the Twinning, as well as with other beneficiary organizations and the Project Leader.
i. Assist the RTA in identifying, contracting and monitoring translation and interpretation services.
j. Assist the RTA in planning the visits of the Short-term experts (travel, accommodation, residence and work in Armenia).
k. Assist the RTA in the preparation of the final report of the Project.
Remuneration: 1000 Euro per month.
Working contract will be signed for 4 months.
The working language of the project is English. An excellent command of both writhen and speaking English is essential. Experience as assistant in other EU founded project or international cooperation projects will be an asset.
