The Erasmus Mundus Programme – Call for Applications for Master and Doctorate students as well as Teaching and Administrative staff of the ACP Countries has been published by the University of Porto
The University of Porto, as coordinating institution of the MUNDUS ACP project, has published the Call for Applications for Master and Doctorate students as well as Teaching and Administration staff of the ACP countries.
The project Mundus ACP is a partnership between 20 Higher Education Institutions of the European Union and the ACP Countries (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific), in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus 2009 - 2013 that is a cooperation and mobility programme in the area of Higher Education, implemented by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
Financed by the European Comission and coordinated by the University of Porto, this Project's main goal is to enhance the cooperation in the area of Higher Education between the European Union and the ACP Countries, by supporting Master and Doctorate students mobility (from the ACP Countries to Europe) as well as Teaching and Administration Staff mobility (in both directions).
As additional support to the implementation of the mobility period, this project includes the payment of a monthly scholarship (between 1000 and 2500 EUR, according to the type of mobility), a return ticket and a health, accident and travel insurance. The project also includes the payment of tuition fees to the host institution (when applicable).
