For the 5th edition of our popular European animation film evening featuring short animation films selected by Ars Electronica, we present films by creators from 11 European Union (EU) Member States (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, France, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands, Austria, and the UK) and Japan, including a few international co-productions. In addition to the film screening, Mr Kazuhiko Washio, Creative Producer at Hakuhodo Inc., will give an introduction to the Ars Electronica Festival, where he also serves as a jury for the "Prix Ars Electronica" (International Competition). An informal drink following the presentation will provide an opportunity to meet the guest speaker and to network among animation fans and professionals.
