Commissioner Jourova pledges Member States will implement EU legislation on hate speech and Holocaust denial (27/01/2014)

Věra Jourová, the EU's Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality spoke on 27.1.15 at the Fourth International Forum "Let my people live!" in Prague, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. The Commissioner pointed out that legislation banning the denial of the Holocaust as well as incitement to hatred exists at EU level. She promised to see to it that it would be properly implemented in all EU Member States.
