The European Union (EU) programme of cooperation supports Indonesia’s development strategy. More than 100 projects are currently being carried out across a range of sectors, regions and cities in Indonesia. EU assistance focuses in particular on support for education, health, trade and investment, good governance, environment, post-disaster reconstruction, and conflict prevention and peace. EU funding for projects in Indonesia is provided in the form of grants, contracts and increasingly budget support.
