Is it seaworthy?

Evrópustofa is hosting an open meeting about Iceland, the EU and fisheries in Víkin - Maritime Museum - Grandagardur 8, Thursday 22 May 12-13:30.

The meeting will be a venue for four experts to discuss Iceland and the EU Common Fisheries Policy - as well as its possible pros and cons for the Icelandic fishing industry.

Speakers are:
Gunnar Haraldsson, Director of the Institute of Economic Studies - University of Iceland
Bjarni Már Magnússon, Assistant Professor at the Reykjavik University School of Law
Kolbeinn Árnason, Chief Executive of the Federation of Icelandic Fishing Vessel Owners
Henrik Bendixen, Head of the European Integration Section at the Delegation of the European Union to Iceland

Moderator is Thora Arnorsdottir, Television Reporter.

No access fee or registration required, all are welcome.

The meeting will take place in English.
