European Christmas concert

European Christmas concert in Evropustofa on Thursday, the 11th of December at 17:00. Everyone is welcome, free of charge. European and Christmas refreshments will be on offer.


Christmas traditions in Europe are diverse, but what is common to all countries of the continent is the important of music and its role during the festivities.

On Thursday, the 11th of December at. 17:00 four European musicians, living in Iceland, will perform Christmas songs from their native countries and give guests a glimpse of the Christmas traditions of their countries of origin.

The musicians come from four European countries and are all renowned musicians, well-known for their talent and expert performances.

The representative of France is Martial Nardeau, who will perform French songs on the flute, Peter Tompkins, from the UK, will play Christmas carols on the oboe, Antonia Hevesi pianist plays Christmas tunes from Hungary and from Italy is Annamaria Lopi, a guitarist.

The concert will be held in Evrópustofa, Suðurgata 10, on Thursday, the 11th of December at 17:00. Everyone is welcome!
