EU info centre in Reykjavík opens after summer holiday

Following the summer break and some personnel changes, the EU Info Centre re-opened on the 1st of September 2014. The Centre has been run since 2012, by the PR Company Media Consulta, through a contract funded by the European Commission.

Since the summer break,  Athygli PR, who had been involved in the operation of the EU centre, will no longer be party to it. There have also been some staff changes, with a Dora Magnusdottir, a former PR and events manager as a new director.

The purpose of the EU Info Centre remains the same -  to provide factual information concerning the EU and to promote increased dialogue, knowledge and understanding of the nature of the European Union."
