The future of the EEA-agreement is fraught with uncertainty. At the same time the EU is reviewing its relationship with Switzerland after recent difficulties in the bilateral relations between the two. Furthermore, is the EEA-agreement democratically viable in its current form? And what is the EU’s position towards the agreement?
