Digital Single Market among the agenda on UTmessa

The yearly conference on information technology, the “UTmessa 2015”, will be held on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th of February at the Harpa Cenference Centre. The purpose of the UTmessa is to highlight the importance of information technology and its effects on individuals, businesses and Icelandic society alike.

On Friday the 6th of February a day-long conference will take place for the IT industry. Many expositions and lectures will be held at the conference; amongst them a lecture by Tonnie Erik De Koster, from the European Commission, who will discuss the European Digital Single Market in Eldborgarsalur. The conference will open at 08:00 and De Kosters lecture will begin at 09:15.

On Saturday the 7th of February the biggest IT companies in Iceland will take part in the conference and admission on that day will be free.
