Calls now open for Erasmus+, the new EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport

The first calls under Erasmus+, which brings together seven existing EU programmes in the fields of Education, Training and Youth and provides support for Sports for the first time, have been published.

Over the course of its duration (2014-2020), Erasmus+ will grant roughly 15 million euros to projects related to education, training, youth and sports. Further information can be found here.

In Iceland it is the Icelandic Centre for Research (RANNIS) that is responsible for Education, Training and Sport while the Youth in Action Programme handles all funding regarding Youth projects. A new website for Erasmus+ in Iceland will be launched in the next few weeks, and information should be available on this site by the end of January 2014.
