Civil society feedback on improving the protection of human rights in Armenia (deadline 5 September) (24/07/2014)

The EU Delegation is inviting civil society organisations in Armenia to contribute to the development of future EU assistance in the area of human rights protection. This exercise aims at increasing the engagement with civil society in Armenia on identifying persisting problems in the area of human rights, as well as a way of assembling ideas and proposals from civil society on ways of addressing such problems.  The feedback from civil society will be used in the process of formulating future EU assistance of human rights protection.

The consultation will focus on several thematic areas, namely: elections, torture prevention, anti-discrimination, gender equality and domestic/gender based violence, as well as child protection.
